The BLAX LAX Mission

In urban communities throughout Maryland, Virginia, and nationwide, young men and women are starting to play lacrosse in record numbers.

Lacrosse is an expensive sport to play, BLAX LAX's goal is:

...to bridge the gap in lacrosse and make it accessible to all.

BLAX LAX Programs


High School Development Programs

(2003 - Present)

Giving students the opportunity to play the game year-round. With tournament teams, summer leagues and indoor leagues preparing them to go to the next level.


Adult Programs

(2003 - Present)

Giving opportunity for players who have graduated high school and are attending college or became members of the work force to continue to play in an organized program that is competitive. With tournament teams, summer leagues and indoor leagues.


College Bound Programs

(2003 - Present)

We focus on players who want to go to college and play lacrosse. We provide guidance and mentor them . Derian Williams- Sturdivand and Melvin Scott III both were recruited to a D1 program at Hampton University. They both have graduated and had excellent playing careers.

HELP US Rewrite History

During twenty years of existence Blax Lax Inc. has made a major impact on the successful matriculation of young people and adults out of the inner city to become productive citizens in our society. These members then reach back and keep the success train moving forward. This worthwhile historic venture requires adequate funding.
